What happened
Arrested by security forces on January 8, 2026. Family had no news for 6 days until Islamic Republic officials contacted her father in Ganaveh claiming she had a heart attack. However, she was killed under torture with visible signs of beating and injury on her body. Family was forced to sign a pledge not to pursue the case and bury her in silence. During the funeral procession in Ganaveh, her mother held a wedding dress and women wailed for her.
